Our Medical Services:
Our experienced GPs and Injury Management Consultant can provide service to injured workers on the day of
request. After our medical assessment, the injured worker and the employer will be informed of the assesssment
outcome and the treatment required.
If the health issue is not related to work then we will not pursue the case further and inform you and your
worker accordingly. We can continue to treat under Medicare without any costs involved.
Our experience medical staff will guide the injured worker to ensure maximum recovery with minimum cost and time delay.
We will also ensure that the injured worker will receive a return to work plan according to the Workcover authority's
requirement.
We have an established network of treating professionals including physiotherapists, podiatrist, psychologists,
orthopaedic surgeons, etc. All our allied specialists have been chosen for their outstanding performance and also
on occupational health needs to ensure that the injured worker will receive priority treatment to minimise recovery
time.
Is the injury work-related?
Our injury Management Consultant (IMC) will review the injured worker and provide a medicolegal report as
well as communicating with the existing treating doctor to suggest a more effective management outcome.
IMC are accredited medical practitioners assigned by WorkCover authority to provide a recognised authority
report and opinion that can be used as an expert witness and authority.
Our IMC can also provide employers a medical report on the likeliness of recurrence of an injury. This can
provide you a valuable insight to the future of your staff asset and a strategy to minimise further aggravation.
We have integrated our experience over the years and created a high standard format for preemployment assessment.
Our preemployment assessment will provide a sixteen-page report of health report of health assessment informing
you of your employee’s medical problems, possible health risks and potential “serial claims”. For a small cost,
you can protect your business from expensive liability during your employee’s employment. The medical report will
act as a valuable document to guard business from claims of pre-existing medical conditions that they may not have
been aware off.
Our pre-employment assessment is designed for all industries including clerical, sales, hospitality, industrial,
and commercial. We can incorporate and tailor our assessment according to your need with drug testing, alcohol
testing, blood testing, x-rays, hearing test, lung function test, etc.
We also provide medical reviews required by specific industries including confined space, Railcorp, TruckSafe, etc.
WorkRecover offers an improved vaccination program to be provided on-site by our doctor. We can provide
vaccination at a competitive rate below market retail price.

Vaccinating in the workplace ha been shown to benefit the company by reducing occupational infection risk,
reduced absenteeism, reduced litigation risk, and improved staff morality. The cost of vaccination is outweighed
by the benefit through increased production and profit.
On-site group vaccination reduces cost compared to clinic vaccination by reduced staff absenteeism from work.
Employers providing vaccination to their staff are generally seen by staff as being worker friendly. This
will lead to higher staff morality, performance and commitment.
WorkRecover will interview and examine an injured worker, review all investigation reports and treatment,
discuss management with the injured worker’s Nominated Treating Doctor, and Specialist. We then can provide
you and all relevant parties with a written medical report outlining suggested treatment and liability. It
has been shown that medical reviews as such will reduce treatment cost and liability by effective injury
management and risk analysis.
WorkRecover can provide comprehensive rehabilitation services including return to work program, work place
assessment, site assessment, air and noise assessment, and OHS staffing and policy supports.

Dietitian
Mr Jose Cabello: Mr Cabello is an accredited practising dietitian. He provides counselling and dietary
advice for healthier eating, diabetes, cholesterol maangement, and weight management.
Psychologist
Ms Lorraine Simpson: Ms Simpson is a registered psychologist with over fifteen years of clinical experience.
She specialises in pain management and injury adjustment counselling along with stress management, and the
management of depression. She is also experienced in providing psychometric testing and reports.
Physiothapist
Physiotherapy Professionals are our preferred therapist. They have been chosen for their commitment and
performance in the field of injury management. The group has been servicing the Sydney South West area for
24 years and is the largest in the area.
